Terms of Service

 

  1. I voluntarily participate in the Road to Reggae Marathon (RTRM) training program organized by WGTR We Got the Runs. I recognize that the program requires physical exertion that may be strenuous at times and may cause physical injury and I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.

  2. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding my participation in the above mentioned program. I represent and warrant that I have no medical condition that would prevent my participation in the program.

  3. I agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damage known or unknown which I might incur as a result of participating in the program. Such injuries may include, but are not limited to, heart attacks, muscle strains, muscle pulls, muscle tears, broken bones, shin splints, heat prostration, injuries to knees, injuries to back, injuries to foot, or any other illness or soreness, including death and loss of personal belongings.

  4. I knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim I may have against the members of WGTR We Got the Runs, or any of the other clubs, studios, gyms, instructors and service providers for injury or damages that I may sustain as a result of participating in the program.

  5. I, my heirs or representatives forever release waive, discharge and covenant not to sue the members of WGTR We Got the Runs, or any of the other clubs, studios, gyms, instructors and service providers for any injury or death caused by their negligence or other acts.

  6. I irrevocably grant unlimited permission to the members of WGTR We Got The Runs and the Released Parties to use, reproduce, sell and distribute any and all photographs, images, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings, or any other depiction of any kind of me or of my participation in the Event or related activity for any legitimate purpose in perpetuity and I understand that I shall not be entitled to any compensation therefor.

  7. I understand that registration and participation in the RTRM does not register, nor reserve a space for me in the Reggae Marathon.

  8. I understand that registration is not complete or confirmed until payment is made.

  9. Space in the programme is not confirmed unless monthly payment is made before the stated due date.

Runs

I understand that:

  1. The programme includes three runs during the week and a long run on Saturday. There will be no long run on the day of the Reggae Marathon, 6th of December.

  2. All runs will be held in Kingston & St. Andrew, with the exception of the November 15 Half-Marathon which is slated to start in Kingston and end at Boardwalk Beach, St. Catherine.

  3. Missing a run does not entitle me to a refund or an extra run.

  4. I must present my RTRM Red Stipe ID card to the run hosts every day to participate in runs. Failure to do so may result in having to pay the regular run participation fee.

Spinning

I understand that:

  1. Spinning classes are available for drop in once a week according to the schedule provided and space available in the classes.

  2. In order to ensure that I have a place each week I must reserve my space in advance by emailing info@corefitja.com.

  3. One Spinning class is allotted for every week and does not roll over.

  4. Failing to attend any classes does not entitle me to a class at any other time during or after the programme.

  5. If I choose to drop-in for a second time during the week I will be required to pay the full drop in price.

  6. I may be required to sign another waiver to participate in the spinning classes.

  7. I must present my RTRM Red Stipe ID card in order to participate in spinning classes. Failure to do so may result in having to pay the regular drop-in rate.

Yoga

I understand that:

  1. Yoga Classes are held every Sunday at 9:00am at the Chinese Benevolent Association.

  2. One Yoga class is allotted for every week and does not roll over.

  3. Failing to attend any classes does not entitle me to a class at any other time during or after the programme.

  4. I must present my RTRM Red Stipe ID card to the Yoga instructor in order to participate in yoga classes. Failure to do so may result in having to pay the regular drop-in rate.

  5. I may be required to sign another waiver to participate in the Yoga classes.

Gym

I understand that:

  1. Gym sessions are available for drop in once a week during regular opening hours of RIPT Gym.

  2. If I choose to drop-in for a second time during the week I will be required to pay the full drop in price.

  3. One Gym Session is allotted for every week and does not roll over.

  4. Failing to utilize a drop in one week does not entitle me to a class at any other time during or after the programme.

  5. I must present my RTRM Red Stripe ID card to the RIPT Gym front desk in order to utilize the package entry. Failure to do so may result in having to pay the regular drop-in rate.

  6. I may be required to sign another waiver to work out in RIPT Gym.

Pool Pass

I understand that:

  1. This pool pass does not entitle me to any swimming lessons or classes at all.

  2. I am expected to follow the rules of Stella Maris Pool

  3. I must use the Stella Maris Pool Pass to gain access to the pool and the RTRM ID alone will not guarantee me entry into the Stella Maris Pool.

  4. I may be required to sign another waiver to use the pool.

RTRM ID Cards

I understand that:

  1. I must present my ID to all events in order to guarantee entitlements which the programme offers.

  2. I will not willingly or knowingly allow another person to access benefits from the programme by using my RTRM ID card.

  3. I cannot change the information on the card at any time during the programme.

  4. Lost cards must be reported to the programme administrator immediately by sending an email to wegottherunsjam@gmail.com

  5. Lost cards will be replaced at an additional cost.

 

I, by registering, agree that I have read and am in full understanding of the terms and agreement of the RTRM training programme.
